How to Interpret Dreams

Dreams are the medium through which our subconscious communicates to our conscious self. Learn how to interpret dreams you have and find their hidden meaning. The information is almost always enlightening.

Brains are very complex machines. Our brain is a giant warehouse of information, it keeps tabs on body condition and stress, and, like the Greek god Hermes, our brain is a messenger – bigger than the US Postal Service – transferring signals and data to and between all of our vital organs.

I think of the brain’s storage responsibilities similar to that of an attic in a big, old house. Over the years, I’ve brought in new “stuff” (information) and piled it on top of the stuff that was already there. Nothing ever really gets tossed out – it just gets buried. Just when I least expect it – a smell, a reminder, a picture in a family album – will trigger a memory long forgotten. It’s like a reminder that there is some really great stuff stored away in there that I never take the time to enjoy.

Our brain is processing information all of the time. When we sleep, it is continuing to work away and sometimes, when the conditions are right, we’re aware enough to catch a glimpse of that processing in the form of a dream.
